Senator Kalu endorses Nkiru Onyejiocha’s ministerial nomination

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North in the Senate, has endorsed the nomination of Mrs Nkiru Onyejiocha, as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North in the Senate, has endorsed the nomination of Mrs Nkiru Onyejiocha, as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Kalu, who made the endorsement in a statement issued described Onyejiocha’s nomination as a welcome development for Abia and Nigeria at large.

The senator said that Onyejiocha as a minister would engender political and economic stability in both Abia and Nigeria.

According him, Onyejiocha is a seasoned politician with a strong support base whose contribution would be immense in development of Abia and Nigeria.

He urged the ministerial nominee to work in synergy with him and other senators in the state for sociopolitical advancement of the area.

Kalu commended President Bola Tinubu for nominating Onyejiocha as minister, promising to partner with her for the success of the administration.

“I am a good party man who does not work against my party, so I must support Onyejiocha’s nomination”, he said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Onyejiocha, former House of Representatives member, is one of the ministerial nominees presented to the National Assembly by Tinubu for confirmation.
