  2. sections 19, 20 and 59;
  3. sections 23, 24, 30, 33, 37, 39, 40, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58 and 73;
  4. Chapter V;
  5. sections 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 97 and 98;
  6. Chapter VIII;
  7. Chapter IX;
  8. section 124 in its application to any of the provisions mentioned in this Schedule; or
  9. Schedule 2.

SCHEDULE 2 TO THE CONSTITUTION. RULES CONCERNING CONSTITUENCIES (Section 58)

All constituencies shall contain as nearly equal numbers of inhabitants as appears to the Constituency Boundaries Commission to be reasonably practicable but the Commission may depart from this principle to such extent as it considers expedient to take account of the following factors, that is to say:-

  1. the density of population, and in particular the need to ensure the adequate representation of sparsely populated rural areas;
  2. the means of communication;
  3. geographical features; and
  4. the boundaries of administrative areas.
