Hailing from Oguta Local Government Area in Imo state, Dr. Doris Nkiruka Uzoka Anite boasts an impressive academic and professional pedigree. Born on October 16, 1981, Dr. Anite is a dedicated family woman and a formidable presence in Nigeria’s political and financial sectors.

Her foray into banking began in 2002, culminating in a prestigious role as the General Manager of Zenith Bank Plc. Furthermore, under the leadership of Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, she became the state’s youngest commissioner.
At Zenith Bank, Dr. Uzoka oversaw critical areas such as Fixed Income and Currency Trading, Asset and Liability Management, Treasury Corporate Sales, and Financial Institutions. Her responsibilities ranged from shaping the bank’s investment strategy to ensuring compliance and risk management.
Her ascent in the banking world started in the Human Resources and Training department, moving to Treasury in 2011. As a testament to her financial prowess, she took on pivotal roles in trading Fixed Income and Currencies and later ascended to the role of Treasurer.
