What is Sleep?
Sleep is described as a realistic state of nap whereby your body becomes dormant, the intellect becomes senseless, and your eyes become closed. Again, sleep is essential for a lot of animals for survival. Our bodies biologically revive themselves during sleep, recovering and taking out metabolic waste, which creates during periods of action. Again, sleep takes place in reiterating periods in which the body takes turns between two varied methods known as Rapid Eye movement and non-rapid eye movement. When sleeping, our body rotates between rapid eye movement and non-rapid eye movement. We often start the sleep cycle with a time of non-rapid sleep movement, which is assisted by a short time of rapid eye movement sleep. We typically see vivid visions during rapid eye movement sleep. A typical adult normally requires 7 – 9 hours of sleep. Hence, these sleep prerequisites differ between individuals. Differences between meditation and sleep
- Meditation has to do with causing your mind to be blank of ideas or focusing on only one thing to relax or due to spiritual or religious activity. Sleep is described as a realistic state whereby one becomes senseless for a while, and the body relaxes mainly for many hours at night.
